“Being a mechanic for the past 40 years myself, when I'm out of town and the car has a problem, I have my gracious and lovely wife take it to nobody else but Hall's. He's to only one I trust (other than myself) If a problem arises due to anything related to his work, he tends to it immediately, a character trait difficult to find in auto shops today.”

“My wife and I have been having our cars serviced by Hall's Automotive in Lancaster for many years. And thank goodness! A few times throughout the years Hall's has discovered non-obvious problems that could have posed serious trouble (like stranding us) if they had not been really observant when examining our engines! Beyond that, Hall's Automotive has been extremely reliable concerning all our automotive needs.

And Hall's is honest! When first using Hall's Automotive many years ago, we compared their charges with what similar work would have cost at other competent repair shops--and they were always reasonably close even while, in our eyes, being at least slightly superior in regards their service. Thank you, Hall's, for always being there when our vehicles need you!!

“Since 1986 Hall's has serviced all my family's cars and I can always count on their expertise, integrity, and family-like care. They have the integrity to explain all their work in detail, and when necessary, they will even tell you how the repair may be more advantageous not to repair or repair elsewhere. Which is rare with their depth and breadth in automotive repair and mechanics. Why have a 'parts changer' work on your car when you can have courteous, professional mechanics with integrity? Hall's is always my choice and recommendation. They are extended family to me and my immediate family.”

Before going to Hall's, I went to the dealership to service my car, and I always felt uncomfortable with the people and mechanics who always seemed interested in making money. “I took my car to Hall's thinking my transmission was blown out; however, it turned out to not be that. Whgen they could have easily got me for a new tranny, they did not and fixed the problem, which turned out to be a much easier and less expensive fix! I recommend Hall's to anyone I meet who needs his or her car repaired. They are hoenst, knowledgebale, reliable, and very kind! I took my car there on a day they were closed and Tom, the owner, opened up his gate and let me drop iot off! Love this shop and recommend it to anyone looking for a mechanic! I don't think they are the cheapest place around, but I'll take reasonably priced and honest over cheap and flaky.”

“Don't let the location freak you out. This was the only local place I could find that worked on Audi's and at first I thought I was just pulling into some guys garage attached to his house. Although there is what appears to be a house that fronts the very poorly maintained road, the garages, mechanics and office behind the house are second to none!

These guys are awesome. They are always efficient, friendly and fairly priced. I trust them with any car problem that may arise.”

“Hands down, no argument ... Best car repair and maintenance service in The Valley!!! This is one of those rare times when you ought to read the 'About' section of the Yelp listing to see what they say about their services --- and then believe it!!!

We tried lots of places before landing here ... and have no plans to leave :) Over the years of outstanding service on our cars, we've appreciated Hall's Automotive so much, and the people who work there, that we've even become friends with the owner, Randy, and my spouse loves dealing with the personable Grace, Nancy and Terri who work there.

Although a business is in business to make money, that's not Randy's #1 objective ... rather, his goal is to make his customers so happy that they become long-term delighted clients. There are closer places, but we wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. You should use Hall's Automotive because I know you'll experience the same outstanding service we have over the past five years.”

“Came here for a smog check a few weeks ago. I called ahead to make sure they could take me and was given an appointment for the same day. My check was quick and they notified me of a loose tail light, which they fixed for me. They also warned me of some other problems, but didn't try to get me to fix them right then as I've seen when taking my car to other mechanics. Essentially they didn't try to nickel and dime me, which I appreciated.

There was a little confusion about paying though. I was prepared to buy the $40 for $50 Yelp deal on my phone but wanted to be sure they would honor it (I've never bought a deal, and I've read reviews of other companies where these deals were not honored). The receptionist told me that I could only use it if I had printed it out. I was confused, as the coupon said I could show her on my phone but it seemed that even if I bought it on my phone she would not accept it. In the end, she ended up honoring the deal anyway and it was cleared up - she wasn't aware that I was prepared to buy the deal, she thought I wanted it just by showing her yelp on my phone. Just a small misunderstanding, doesn't affect the great way that they treat their customers. I'll probably come back if I need any further work done on my car. I haven't found that mechanic that I absolutely love and trust, but who knows, Hall's might just be that shop!”
